Imaginary Majesty: Songs & Stories of Emperor Norton

For the past few years, The Emperor Norton Trust has been developing a compilation album of “Emperor songs” — songs about, or in some way inspired by, Emperor Norton. The album — a project of the Trust’s ARchive of Emperor Norton in Art, Music & Film (ARENA) — will feature a collection of rarely heard recordings made between 1962 and 2018 by 16 artists and bands.

This will be released as a digital album with a booklet of lyrics, artwork, and “liner notes” in a limited edition of 500.
