Emperor's Bridge Campaign Marks Bicentennial With "Emperor Norton at 200" Series
The nonprofit Emperor's Bridge Campaign* works on a variety of fronts — research, education, advocacy — to advance the legacy of the 19th-century eccentric and visionary, Emperor Norton.
One of the Campaign's earliest research projects established that, according to the best-available evidence, Emperor Norton's birth date is 4 February 1818.
This points to 4 February 2018 as the 200th anniversary of the Emperor's birth.
To celebrate this momentous occasion, The Emperor's Bridge Campaign is pleased to present...
EMPEROR NORTON AT 200
A series of exhibits, talks, toasts and other special events
in February 2018 and throughout the bicentennial year.
The home page for the series — featuring a "Learn More" button
that directs to an info / calendar page that will be continuously
updated — is at
