The Emperor's 198th: A Birthday Party in Salute of Emperor Norton
Last February, The Emperor's Bridge Campaign* held our first birthday party for Emperor Norton. It was his 197th.
There was wine and a cake — with 197 candles! And we offered a presentation of our research pointing to a birth date of 4 February 1818 for the Emperor.
We called it an "annotated birthday party."
This year, we're leaving the notes behind!

We'll be surrounded by the wonderful collection of Emperor-themed art that our good friends at Boozeland have assembled in the couple of years since the Campaign held its launch party there in September 2013.
Hope to see you on the 4th!
* In December 2019, The Emperor's Bridge Campaign adopted a new name: The Emperor Norton Trust.
